AEROSPACE CAREER EXPERIENCE

Are you curious to know which technologies are applied to the Aerospace, Defense and Aviation sectors? From Digitalisation and the use of Big Data, which have revolutionized the industry in this field, towards "intelligent production" up to the use of new platforms to provide advanced performance and functionality.

Do you want to know more?

So, what are you waiting for? Delve deeper into an interactive experience with companies concerning Aerospace.

To learn more about the impact of digital transformation on the world of work, we invite you to participate in the Aerospace Career Experience event.

During the event, you will have the opportunity to attend practical demonstration sessions hosted by companies and meet their technical and HR representatives. During the activities, you will engage with companies in a unique experience related to this field, such as, for example:

  • New impactful trends: AI, IoT, Virtual & Augmented Reality, autonomous aircraft, simulation;
  • What software and tools are most used in the work by the technical contact person;
  • How to deal with a technical problem that you may encounter on a daily basis at work;
  • How to immediately build a professional network together with company representatives.

For this event, participants will be divided into various groups, with each group having the opportunity to interact with the participating companies and attend several company presentations.

Hurry! Places to participate in the event are limited! The Career Service will contact you one week before the event to confirm your participation.

Please note that the event will be held in English and is part of the Career Service Award.

LEONARDO:

WHAT DOES IT REALLY TAKE TO TURN A HELICOPTER INTO A LIFE-SAVING MACHINE?

At the Aerospace Career Experience event with Leonardo, you’ll step into the world of helicopters and experience firsthand how Leonardo Helicopters tackles real engineering challenges.

You won’t just listen—you’ll take action.

Starting from a real scenario, you’ll be asked to solve a concrete problem: how can a helicopter be adapted for search and rescue missions? Working in teams, you’ll take on the roles of different departments within Leonardo Helicopters. From analyzing customer requirements to selecting mission equipment such as cameras and hoists, you’ll make key design decisions and explore how these systems can be integrated into the aircraft.

But that’s not all. You’ll also face one of the most critical aspects of aerospace engineering: certification. How do you ensure that every modification is safe, compliant, and ready to fly?

This is your chance to experience the complexity—and excitement—of real-world aerospace engineering. Will you be able to deliver a safe and effective aircraft?

NEOS:

AIRCRAFT ON GROUND SIMULATION

Step into the heart of an airline company with an Aircraft on Ground simulation.

Students will take on specific roles through individual role cards, each representing a key airline department. Together, they will collaborate in real time to solve a high‑pressure scenario: an aircraft ready for departure, passengers on board, and a sudden cockpit warning light indicating a technical issue.
Through teamwork, decision‑making, and problem‑solving, participants will experience the challenge and complexity of restoring an aircraft to safe operation.

MBDA:

DEFENCE SYSTEMS CONCEPTING ACTIVITY

Apply systems engineering principles in a realistic mission concepting simulation. In collaboration with MBDA, you will work in multidisciplinary teams to design a missile system based on specific operational requirements and technical constraints. Each team will select and integrate components for aerodynamics, propulsion, guidance, and warhead design, then compare their final project with the solution developed by MBDA experts.

  • Can you pick the perfect components to balance speed, range, and precision?
  • Do you have what it takes to lead a team and harmonize conflicting technical choices?
  • Will your design survive the scrutiny of the pros?

Showcase your talent and see firsthand how the future of defense technology is built.
