JOB TITLE: HSE – INTERNSHIP

 

You will join the HSE function, and you will be involved in improving safety and ergonomics through procedure creation, risk management, training, data analysis, and site collaboration. This internship offers hands-on experience, providing a unique opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

 

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

You will support your tutor in:

• Redacting Corporate Procedures and implementing Ergonomics Risk reduction programs.
• Conducting training sessions on Technical Safety matters.
• Analyzing HSE-related data and support Pirelli sites in adopting technical and organizational validated solutions using digital tools.
• Deploying Risk Assessment-driven processes.

 

REQUIRMENTS

• Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental and Land Planning Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Industrial Safety and Risk Engineering.
• Fluency in Italian and English.
• Good knowledge of Office and database management.
• Comprehensive knowledge about Safety (Machineries, Ergonomics, etc,…) regulation, related standard and best practices.
• Good communication and team work skills.

JOB TITLE: OPERATIONAL TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST – INTERNSHIP

 

The candidate will operate within the Manufacturing Intelligence department, and he/she will work on subjects related to Operational Technology, focusing on connectivity, data collection, and their presentation to IT systems.

 

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN 

• Managing the analysis, technical definition, planning, subsequent development, and release of systems aimed at integrating machinery into Pirelli’s processes;
• Managing sharing and alignment meetings with internal stakeholders;
• Handling external software suppliers from both a technical and organizational standpoint;
• Maintaining and monitoring the currently installed OT software within the company and formally validating the data;
• Preparing technical documentation, activity reports, functional and technical specifications (software).

 

REQUIRMENTS

• Master’s Degree in High Performance Computing Engineering or Computer Science and Engineering.
• Kwoledge of operating systems: Windows, Windows Server, Ubunt and Debian.
• Basic knowledge of major programming languages: C#, Java, Phyton.
• Knowledge of DBMS systems (both relational and non relational) and their implrmentations: SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, AWS Cloud.
• Fluency in English.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to focus on defined priorities.

JOB TITLE: HSE Internship - Bollate

 

You will support the Health, Safety, Prevention, Protection and Environment Manager (RSPP) in the various activities carried out by the department at the Bollate plant.

 

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

You will work alongside your tutor to:

• Identify existing risk factors within the company, perform risk assessments in accordance with Legislative Decree 81/08, and propose and manage safety plans and procedures, including the indication of PPE to ensure the physical integrity and well-being of employees in a healthy workplace environment;
• Collect all necessary information for the preparation of the Risk Assessment Document (DVR and DUVRI), as well as for the implementation of specific training programs for workers, in collaboration with Human Resources and Environmental management.
• Collaborate with the RSPP to maintain the Environmental and Safety Management System in compliance with UNI EN ISO 45001:2018 and UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 standards.
• Carry out internal audits and ongoing checks on activities carried out by Pirelli and external suppliers, preparing the required reports as outlined by Legislative Decree 81/08 and the Environmental Management System.
• Act as an internal promoter to engage all employees in increasing and continuous attention to health and safety matters, as well as environmental protection and respect in the workplace, applying the Pirelli Excellence in Safety methodology in partnership with the BBS Foundation, and participating in regular meetings and safety committees.

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Management, or Occupational Health, Safety and Environment
• Soft skills: proactivity, strong teamwork abilities, and good influencing skills
• Technical skills: good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite. Experience with the SAP management system will be considered a plus
