Placement program for PhD

PhD candidates interested in pursuing a career in industry can access personalized support provided by a Career Advisor, aimed at helping them prepare the tools needed to present effectively themselves to companies, enhance their academic profile, and make it attractive to the job market. The service supports the definition of professional goals and the development of a targeted action career plan.

For PhD candidates interested in exploring or planning a non-academic career, Career Service offers an individual pathway with a Career Advisor, structured into three personalized meetings.

  1. 1st - Meeting – Career Advisor Meeting and CV Check

An initial one-on-one meeting with a Career Service Advisor, during which participants can receive feedback on their CV and a mapping of their academic, professional, and personal experiences, as well as an analysis of the technical and transferable skills developed and their main professional interests.

  2. 2nd - Summary and Goal Definition

Summary of key skills and strengths. Reflection on areas of professional interest and guidance towards the roles most aligned with the identified profile, with the aim of defining a concrete strategy: identifying next steps, potential development areas, tools, and approaches to effectively manage the job search process

  3. 3rd - Feedback and follow-up Meeting

A third meeting, held just over a month after the first, to review progress toward the defined goals together with the Career Advisor. Discussion of any challenges encountered, updates to the action plan, and practical suggestions to consolidate progress. A useful opportunity to assess the situation and continue independently or with additional support tools
