Chief Financial Officer Area of Intesa Sanpaolo, in collaboration with the Career Service and the Management Engineering Degree Program, is organizing “JOB SHADOWING INTESA SANPAOLO: THE ROLES IN THE CFO AREA”, dedicated to students of the Finance Lab course taught by Professor Laura Grassi.

16 selected students, divided into 4 groups, will have the opportunity to shadow different managers, rotating during a working day. This will allow students to gain a concrete understanding of what it means to hold different roles within the CFO Area of Intesa Sanpaolo.

The corporate units involved are the following, which you will have the opportunity to learn about during the kick-off event:

• CFO Area – Strategic ALM Service, Via Verdi 11
• CFO Area – Capital Management Service, Via Verdi 11
• CFO Area – Data Governance and Methodologies Service, Via Clerici 4/6
• CFO Area – Group Planning Service, Via Clerici 4/6
• International Banks Division – Planning & Control Service, Via Montebello 18

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The 4 groups, on a rotational basis, will meet all the Corporate Units on the scheduled days at the Intesa Sanpaolo offices.

Each Shadowing Day will include working alongside two different offices within the hosting structure, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, in order to provide a broader and more comprehensive understanding of the activities carried out by each Service.

By the end of the project, students will have shadowed a total of 8 teams within the CFO Area.

Each day will be structured as follows:
an initial meeting with the Head of the Office, followed by job shadowing with the team members, and a final debrief. This will be followed by a free lunch break. In the afternoon, starting from 2:00 PM, the same program will take place while shadowing the second office within the Service.

AGENDA

The project will be conducted in English. The kick-off meeting will take place on campus at Politecnico di Milano, while the job shadowing sessions will take place at the company’s offices.

What are the criteria to participate in the project?
All information will be provided during the lecture on March 25.

The project is dedicated to students enrolled in the Master’s Degree in Management Engineering – Finance stream, attending the Finance Lab course at Politecnico di Milano.
