Sdi for Eni-Syndial: the TAF telecontrol system

Sdi was awarded of the tender for the supply of the new TAF telecontrol system (Trattamento Acque di Falda - Acquifer Water Treatment) for Eni/Syndial, that remotely connects and manages the 18 plants geographically distributed in Italy near high critical industrial sites, contributing to decrease the environmental impact of these installations on the National territory.
The complete TAF network is composed by a central SCADA, 18 remote-geographically distributed plant SCADAs, hundreds of thousands of remote control tags and managed devices, each one run via Real Time control functions. To guarantee the maximum level of availability and reliability of the system, both the central and the remote SCADAs operate in redundant hot-backup configuration, controlled by our eXPert SCADA platform
