Although internships do not constitute jobs per se, they provide an important opportunity as part of your training course because they allow you to get to know the world of work first-hand, enabling you then to make a more informed choice about what your ideal job would be, based on your interests. 

Internships offer a tangible experience of placement in the work environment, and if you're a student, they entitle you to training credits that will enhance your student curriculum.  

Politecnico di Milano is a promoter body for internships geared towards students and graduates - including those taking Masters, PhD, advanced study or specialisation courses - up to 18 months after graduation.
